This Makes Me Laugh

I love this photo - it makes me laugh every time;

these are some cute Disney Mickey ears my parents got for Alex for Christmas - he wears them around the house - it actually talks and has little commands to follow, like simon says. Who ever thought Down syndrome could be so cute and fun and surprising and we would have someone like Alex! Everything is a little slower, but he gets it eventually - Lynn says that Alex does things on his own time table - I like thinking of it that way. Alex almost beat Ben at "connect four" tonight - I'm not sure if he knew what he was doing, but at the end of the game all three of us were laughing, especially when Alex threw up his hands and yelled at the top of his lungs, "I won"!
