Relay for Life

I walked in the Relay for Life last night for a cure for cancer. I walked it with my friends Elaine and Marilyn. It's an over night walk to symbolize that cancer never sleeps. We walked for a couple hours starting at 10:00 p.m. It was amazing how many people were out there - it was in Gilbert at a high school track. There were luminaries around the whole track, many with the names of people who had passed away from cancer. I walked it for my Dad, a cancer survivor, and also friends who have passed from cancer including Nancy's Dad Tony, my friend Debbie who died in March, and also my Aunt Carol who is in hospice in New York. Please say a prayer for anyone you know who has passed from cancer or who is fighting cancer.......
