It was so much fun to see the kids' faces when we took them to the Tapan Table at Ichiban to watch the cook make our food right in front of us! It was a gathering for Bill's birthday (on Tuesday he turns just one year shy of the Big 5-0!!) with Bill's mom, grandma, brother Mike, his wife Terry and Matt and Mitch- nephews. So we all gathered round and Ben, Lizzy, Alex and Matt were mesmerized by the juggling knives and especially the onion valcano! Mitch stood back, I guess he was scared of the fire. But to watch the other kids' faces was truly priceless! And, may I add - I just love the food there! It's on Alma School and Baseline if you get a chance to go!
