Make New Friends But Keep The Old

This is a great photo that says a lot. First, it's a photo of a PartyLite event - a regional workshop to be exact. I was happy to have my camera at this workshop so I could get a snapshot with my BFF Elaine and also my good friend Marj. Marj was the first consultant I ever met in PartyLite. She was at a party I went to at Deanna's house in 1996 and she later sponsored me into PartyLite. Marj is in her mid-70's but doesn't look it. She has been ill the past few years, her one kidney was failing and she needed a new one. It took like over 2 years of searching, but she finally got a new kidney last year. I think she is doing better, she isn't one to complain, but I know her eyesight is also failing. I love that woman - she's amazing and if I had more time I would tell you about her life, I would share the fact that she's been through several heath crisis in her life, including how she has NO hair on her head or body; how she has been married to Ike forever or how she lost a son in a car accident when he was a young boy. I will say that I am blessed to know her and all the women I have met through my PartyLite business of 14 years! Oh, if you are wondering why we are dressed Hawaain? Well...it was a theme meeting for fun summer business, of course!
