4th of July!

To celebrate the 4th of July - we went to the Phipps' for a BBQ - Lynn's neighbors, the Toth family also came too! We all ate way to much! Everyone had their specialties there - I made my famous potato salad, Lynn made her awesome guacamole, Brad brought a fabulous crab pasta salad and Mark did his "Dad thing" on the grill - grill'in up some delicious BBQ chicken legs and brats. We rounded it all off with watermelon, a special Flag Cake I made and last but not LEAST - lots of Bud Lite Lime! After all that eating, we all did some swimming too! Later, we had a cake and had a little party for Lynn - whose birthday is on the 6th. Much fun and relaxing was had by all! The kids watched fireworks from the backyard tree house. Bill and I drove Alex towards Mesa, to see the fireworks, but when we got close and parked, Alex complained they were too loud. So...we watched for a minute and that was it! So we took our stuffed bellies home and went to bed.
