Ben is off to Camp this week. For the past two years, Granny has treated the cousins, Matt and Mitch to a one-week summer Camp in Prescott. Mitch, who is the same age ast Ben, has asked Ben to go for the past two summers, but he just wasn't ready. This year, with some gentle arm twisting by me and Dad, Ben decided he would try Camp. So, after mentally preparing him by talking about it on and off all summer, it was time to pack and go! The night before he told me, "Mom, I'm so excited, but I am a little nervous too". But the morning when we dropped him at the bus, he as quiet, but no tears (me neither!) and he went with his cousins, hugged us all goodbye and went on his way! The three of us were all a little lost, I think...without Ben in the car with us, knowing we wouldn't see him for 6 days. But...food heals all, so we went to Village Inn and had a nice breakfast. Plus...it's only 6 days!
