Is Mother's Day a holiday for us moms? I think not! My mother's day involved a lot of working, as any normal weekend - not that it wasn't enjoyable, but gosh, it was work! We hosted a BBQ on Saturday for Bill's family, the end result being a relaxing nice evening - but a BBQ doesn't happen by itself - or even just with Bill. . . . .Sunday was pretty good - Bill made me a wonderful breakfast that was ready when I returned from Mass. That night the parents came in town and Lynn and I put on a BBQ at her house! Lynn did the bulk of the work, but I helped a lot. Again, the end result was a nice evening enjoying my mommy and dad too! Maybe next year I'll get that "weekend at the spa". . . . .hey, one can dream, can't they?!
