Even if you're a year older (yukk!), it's still fun to have a birthday at 40..something....it started on Wednesday when Tamra, Becca and Lynn took me to Pesto's for an impromtu glass (or 2) of wine and some good conversation and laughs! Then, on Saturday - the actual day - Tamra and I met for bagels and coffee and then headed to a nail salon to meet up with Nancy for pedi's. They treated me, so it was extra nice! When I got home Bill and the boys got me a cake and we got ready for the Diamondbacks game with Ben, Bill, me, Mark and Lizzy. Even though Ben was beyond bored, we had a great time at the game. Plus, after the game was Trace Adkins. That was pretty cool! It was a great day - but you haven't heard the best part - Bill suprised me with a laptop computer!! I'm glad you had a good birthday! It was fun celebrating last Wednesday. Those impromptu get togthers always seem to be the best!
