Well, today we tried an experiment - Alex was going to his day care in the morning and I had to work....so, what to do with Ben?....when confronted with the idea of a babysitter coming over, namely the 12 year old boy across the street, Ben replied, "no thanks"....well, what are you going to do while Mommy works in her office?...."I'll play"....guess how long he gave me? 45 minutes later, he's on my lap, while I'm on the computer, trying to finish a letter and talk to a client on the phone, plus collect candle orders from candle clients for an order I'm trying to finish...fun!! I ended up giving up on working and helping him with a science experiment out of his science kit.....So, long story short - even at 7 years of age - it's impossible to play and let Mommy work! We'll have to figure out something for next week.....
