We have X-Box obesession in our house. Ben got the gaming system for his birthday. His favorite is Halo ODST - basically a shooting game set in the future. This game is a big deal - it has a huge encyclopedia we had to buy at the book store. Ben has X-Box live - he gets on the headset and talks and plays with his buddy Nicholas and then his buddies get on...... and a few times he has been on with Chris in Yuma, who also loves this game - they all play the same games on the systems in their own house - and can talk to each other too! I can't even wrap my mind around having somthing like that when I was a kid! Anyways, he's taken over the living room TV, which is a bummer.....we have to literally kick him off to eat, go to bed, etc! I'm giving him a little slack since it's summer.....and i'm also finding threats of "no x-box until you_____ (fill in the blank with "clean your room", read 10 pages of a book, etc."....you get the drill)....but he's having fun with it and that's OK.
