I love scrapbooking. I know digital is the wave of the future - - I'm doing a digital album myself for my summer "photo a day" project...but to me, there is nothing like getting our your supplies, going through your printed pictures and creating a page layout with a theme. I've been scrapbooking since my late 20's....throughout the years I have had some really great nights and afternoons scrapping with friends. My mom and I went to an all-day event this past January and it's such a feeling of accomplishment to get 20 pages done in a day. The best part of the countless albums I have completed, is having the boys look at them. They love to look at photos of them as babies and toddlers and point at all the family members and friends and say, "remember when we did that!". They got out one of the albums the other night, I think it was from 2004, and just looked at it and went through it for about 30 minutes or so...they were precious to watch. So...I got a photo, to scrapbook later!
