Alex turned 6 years old on Wednesday! It is hard to believe the baby is 6! I went to Alex's class with cookies and lemonade and the class had a party for Alex. Then, to celebrate Alex's day we had a small party at Peter Piper Pizza. Alex got lots of new toys - his choice of the moment is Toy Story toys and Cars - Mater is his fave! Alex is just finishing out his year of kindergarden. We found out that he will be in the same class with the same teacher next year, but will be in First Grade. Just like this year, he will go out several times a day to be with the typical first graders. Alex is very social and his best friends are Bella and Zachary. Alex is learning a lot this year and is working hard on learning his numbers and letters. He is progressing in his writing and spelling and recognizing his name. There is so much I could write about Alex and all the things he can do....but instead I'll post some photos of his party! Happy Birthday Alex - my special, wonderful, funny, sweet, red-haired boy!
