Alex has a BFF - his name is Zachary and they have been friends since preschool. They currently attend the same school, but Zach, who also has Down Syndrome, is in a slightly different academic program than Alex, so he has to switch schools next year. Both Zach's mom Katherine and I are very upset about this. They only live about 8 minutes away from us, so our plan is to get the boys together as often as possible. Here are some photos from the DSN spring picnic that both families attended a couple Saturday's ago. Alex and Zachary are so alike in their actions and mannerisms, seeing them together just cracked us all up!
