I really enjoy scrapbooking and have been involved with the hobby on and off for many years, even before I was married and had children. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of spare time for it. For the past couple years, my mom and I have been going to an event called "Celebrate", held in the Phoenix Civic Center. It's an all day scrapbooking event - with hours and hours to work on your projects, hourly prize giveaways and general fun and bonding with hundreds of women who also enjoy to scrap. My mom and I had a great time and we love the feeling at the end of the day - hungry (we are working furiously - barely stopping to have a quick lunch!), exhausted, and an awesome feeling of accomplishment that we worked on our albums! It's fun to look at the books and see what each other did, at the end of the day. Good times - hope a whole year doesn't go by before I get my scapbooking out again!
