All in all it was a fabulous Christmas this year! It started with a suprise phone call from Mom and Dad last week that Dad had off work and they were coming here this year! So, they arrived around noon on Christmas Eve and my Dad and Bill took off with Ben and Markie to do some fishing at Tempe Town Lake. When they came back and we got everyone cleaned up, we went to 4:00 Christmas Mass. Then it was off to Lynn's for La Fonda Mexican food and drinks and merriment. Besides some drama by my lameness in breaking a glass lid on the tile floor, it was fun! Tamra and Nicholas also joined us for mass and Christmas Eve dinner. The next day was Christmas! Ben came in at 5:30 yelling Merry Christmas. I yelled, "NO ONE is getting up before 7:00!!!" . I went back to sleep and at 6:59, Ben came in again and announced it was 7:00! I guess he was up that whole time! So, we got up and watched the boys have so much fun opening their gifts! At noon, the Phipps and my parents came back over and we had a delicious brunch complete with egg dish, a ham, a blueberry french toast bake and much more - oh, and I don't want to forget the mimosas and bloody mary's! It was great because my friend Tamera got to come as well as Tamra. Everyone ate breakfast and hung out. The kids jumped on the trampoline and we slowly opened all the gifts from the Phipps and my parents. Everyone was gone by 4:00 and later Ben and I headed over to the Phipps for lasanga so Ben could see what the kids got from Santa. We finally got back home around 8:00 and whew! What a couple of days!! It really was a great Christmas!! The phots are a combination of Christmas Eve, Christmas morning and then later at the Brunch.
