McCain-Palin

I am for this ticket, as are all the Eckerts, Phipps and many, many people I know. Some of my undecided voter friends have asked me why McCain? Here are some things to think about:

-McCain-Palin is the ticket for LIFE. ALL LIFE!
-Sarah Palin has a son with Down Syndrome. She has promised to be my advocate for Alex, while in the White House.
-McCain served my country selflessly for many years, especially during his time as a POW. He refused to go home before others who were in the camps with him. He truly loves America.
-We cannot have Democrats in the House majority and the White House - spending all our money and "redistrubuting wealth".
-McCain know how to handle the war in Iraq and has vast amounts of foreign policy experience.

These are my main points and reasons for me.

I have concerns about the other ticket - his lack of experience, his questionable associations, his strong "pro-choice" stance, his past comments about how he really feels about America. A lot of his supporters feel like supporting him will be "history in the making" and I think it's "cool" to support him, which is probably why he is likely to win next month. Some just hate George Bush I guess. It's too bad and I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out. . . . .

I know some who look at this post will not agree with me - but that's OK and hey, everyone gets to have an opinion!
