The Polar Express train ride was really awesome! We were on the train about an hour and a half. It's great, because it feels like the perfect amount of time. During the ride, the "cooks" in your car bring you hot chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie. They also read the book Polar Express and everyone is in their pajamas - even the adults. You ride to the North Pole, where the kids get to see it out the window and Santa and his Elf are waving. Then...Santa gets on the train! Santa goes through the train and gives every child a bell - just like the book. And before Santa comes everyone sings Christmas carols. As an aside, the Polar Express is one of my favorite movies and the train ride surpassed my expectations. As you can see from the photos, the kids had a fantastic time! Being with the Cohen's was a lot of fun and we are all hoping we can do the trip next year too!
