The Special Ed Department at Keller does such a great job. Another terrific Thanksgiving program was held again this year. The older kids have speaking parts, and Alex and his classmates have non-speaking parts. This year Alex played the part of the "Indian", he stomped to some music and then pretended his was teaching the pilgrims to fish. It was very cute and the kids try so hard and all the family members are always so proud and supportive. Bella, Michael and Lynn also came - Alex was so excited to show off his cousin! The last picture is the teacher reading a Thanksgiving story to all the kids and Bella just joined right in. The teacher, Ms. Deanie, had all the parents go back to her class for homemade tamales and Barrow's pizza for the kids. It was a great morning and we really enjoyed participating in Alex's school activities!
