Gobble, Gobble

I love Thanksgiving at my mom's. A little drama during the day from my mom (she should have been a Jewish mother - - Oye Vay!) is worth the amazing meal she creates! From the wonderful turkey to homemade everything else - - my mouth is watering at the thought! We had a good time; the kids just idolize their cousin Chris - yea, he's an annoying teenager who thinks the world revolves around him and who never is far from his cell phone texting, but dang, my boys love him - I think he's cool, hey, he's my nephew, but Alex and Ben - they wanted him over the entire time and begged him to come and stay at my mom's! During the weekend there were a couple cut throat ping pong tourneys too! Luckily Ben was there to chase the little ball when there was a "miss". We also got to fly a kite on Saturday. My mom and I also braved the crowds, lines and crazy people on "black Friday" - it's stupid and crazy, but it's a TRADITION! We had fun and I made a tiny dent in my shopping. We left Yuma more broke (due to the shopping), a few pounds heavier and full hearts with good memories of Thanksgiving '08.
